Multi award winning record producer, composer, and performer of 15 years, six of which have been professionally.

As an original member of Beats Bus record label and mobile recording studio, Kobby is committed to giving young people a voice through art and music. He believes personal development and music go hand in hand and is keen to increase people’s confidence with every session.

Having played on Radio 1xtra, headlined three times at Humber Street Sesh with ENDOFLEVELBDDIE and under the names Prez 96 and Playa One, Kobby has supported chart topping acts like Tinie Tempah, Giggs, The Game and Sugar Hill Gang.

In 2019 Kobby co-composed and acted in the George Devine  Award winning musical The Canary and The Crow. The show went on to win five national awards including the Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence, two Off West End awards including one for the performance of the ensemble of which Kobby was a key part and a nomination for a Total Theatre Award.

Kobby has been commissioned multiple times by Middle Child Theatre in Hull, both to compose music and to perform in their newest production ‘There Should Be Unicorns’. Kobby is also working with various other writers and aims to co-write 2 musicals in 2022.

Kobby’s dream is to use all his skills to facilitate award winning workshops for the youths that attend Beats Bus. His aim is to create a generation of professional artists through Beats Bus’s 5 year mentorship programmes and change the face of music in England forever.
